About Richard Silk

Photograph: Richard Silk Richard Silk, founder of the New Family Network, has been serving families successfully for 30 years. Richard's skill in fostering family well-being and mentoring young people is informed by decades of working with private clients as well as church and community groups. He has served as family coach, parent advisor, youth mentor, and relationship educator.

Richard's passion for guiding young people and their families began during his graduate school years, and has continuously developed through a lifetime of service. He has taught in private and public schools at secondary and college levels. He has been a principal of a private secondary school with campuses in New York, California, and Fiji.

On the international scene—in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, England, the Netherlands, and Germany—Richard guides individuals and families as well as leading seminars in emotional development and family life.
